I haven't written for a while because life has just been so full for me (us). I started school in September with only 1 class in sign language. Matt also started his 2nd year of school this fall AND I started homeschooling the boys. Well, I'm still trying to homeschool, but haven't found what works for us yet. Something must be working though...Jarom is starting to read and write and spell words! The last 2 months have just been extremely busy with all of our schooling, dr's visits, and life.
So...Dr's...My cancer has grown in the last year. My main doctor that I've worked with for the last 3 years left her position to work somewhere else where she could have more time with her son (who is the same age as Hope). So far, I'm not really liking the doctor who took over her position. He means well, and I know this, but I just don't seem to click with him. He reminds me of a doctor I had when I was first diagnosed with cancer... anyway, at least he isn't spouting in my face that I'm going to die if I don't do this now. He has gotten different opinions and wants to help. But, I feel now is not the time for intervening...just watching and waiting, though it is sometimes scary.
Courage fell and broke his elbow at the end of September after a long evening at the fair (with Grandmama and Grandaddy) and had to get a cast on for 4 weeks. He is now downgraded from the cast to a brace that he is supposed to wear during the day for 3 weeks. Hopefully, by the end of 3 weeks, he will start moving his arm again.
Jarom and Hope have been doing ok. Just flu shots (not Hope) and mild colds/ allergies.
I have been keeping up on Facebook and try to upload pics there. For now, though, I've got to leave for school!
