She's up and getting ready, pumped for a new day. Today, like most days there is no time for a long relaxing shower, makeup, nice clothes, or jewelry. They are bound to get messy anyway. Putting on a t-shirt and jeans will fit her clientele fine. They are waking up, straggling into the main bedroom or downstairs to find her and breakfast. "Mommy" they say. "Appuce," roughly translated as apple juice. Hugs are given all around. Running, jumping tickling, are enjoyed by all involved. "See the snow,” she questions. "Let's go play." They roll around to the heart’s content, getting progressively wetter. “Time to go in boys, you’re getting cold.” They drink hot chocolate and warm up by the fire. Ragged and worn, they all fall asleep. It's been a great day!
Mom has been there through all they’ve done. Cuddling, calming, worrying, even scaring away monsters is part of her job. Never a break she gets from this job. But, would she trade it? Never, not for the world, for this is her wonderful life!
