Projects

Here is a pictorial rundown of the projects I made for Christmas and a few that I'm starting:

The Giant Roll of Bias Tape (for Courage's quilt). Making bias tape is not exactly easy and therefore got delayed for a while...

Courage's finished quilt! I learned a ton about my sewing machine,
including the fancy embroidery stitches that I used to sew the binding on...my new favorite feature (less hand sewing!)

Hats for all 3 of my boys: Matt's is grey, Jarom's is red, and Courage's is blue.

Sleeping Bags for the boys: Jarom's is the red one. They were made without a pattern and using remnants from the fabric store and my stash. I think they turned out really well. Oh, and they are super warm!

Jarom's blanket that I knit. It is knit with 100% cotton yarn. I did a little crochet thing on the edges to hopefully make it not roll so much, but so far it doesn't seem to be working as well.

The family picnic blanket. It is still in the works somewhat. There is a handle up top that will have a second one and a piece of fabric added to it for the blanket to be able to fold into itself as a bag. I also need to add a signature...a necessary part of finishing quilts.

Koolaid dyed yarn and the beginnings of my first sweater for myself. The yarn is bright and pink and variegated... a coral color really

And other ones that will be on my upcoming etsy shop:
Baby bootie - I have another one, but it needs to be sewn together still...the one thing I dislike about knitting...
A baby girl sweater...I believe it is 9 month size, but have to double check...again, delayed because of sewing the buttons on...the rest has been done for months...literally!

Wow! I wish I had an ounce of your skill! They are beautiful! You asked me why I am lonely in blogger land. The reason is that not everyone is as diligent at posting as you are. I miss following everyone's lives. I am grateful that you have made the time to keep your followers (including me) updated! I might watch from a distance, but I get really excited every time I see that you have posted something new! You inspire me in so many ways. Thank you!
